Emergency Medical Technician
EMT training is a 168 hour course which trains students to manage a host of medical emergencies, such as heart attacks, strokes, and seizures. They are also trained in such emergencies as childbirth, use of the automated external defibrillator, and oxygen administration. EMTs are also trained to manage traumatic injuries, such as those resulting from motor vehicle accidents, athletic events and recreational accidents.
Firefighter 1
This 173 hour course includes lessons in: fire behavior, safety, ladder skills, hose skills, SCBA skills, forcible entry and ventilation, salvage, hazardous materials awareness and operational, and fire attack.
Firefighter 2
This 97 hour course includes lessons in: Water supply, sprinklers, structural fire attack, flammable liquids, confined space awareness, trench rescue awareness, master streams, Truck Company and Engine Company Operations, IMS I-200 and Flashover Training.
